France – Recruitment & Course Assistant M/F At International Solidarities

WHAT DO WE DO …

SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian aid association which, for more than 40 years, has provided relief to populations victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters by responding to vital needs, drinking, eating and shelter. Particularly committed to the fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the leading cause of death in the world, SI implements through its interventions expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and promotion hygiene but also in the essential aspect of food security and means of existence. Present in around twenty countries, the SI teams – 2,000 people in total made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at headquarters, a few volunteers, etc. – intervene with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Within the Recruitment & Careers department and under the supervision of the Recruitment & Careers Support Officer, the Assistant’s role is to support the service in its operation, and more particularly in the management of its recruitment.

He/she ensures the preparation and conduct of monthly induction sessions organized by headquarters.

Recruitment support

  • Ensures the publication of advertisements for head office and expatriate recruitment, and provides support if necessary when this is carried out directly by the field
  • Produces an analysis of the relevance of the distribution platforms used, by studying the origin of the applications processed by the service
  • Carries out a regular screening of spontaneous applications, and forwards the relevant profiles to his/her hierarchical superior.
  • Write and distribute the HR newsletter

Service support

  • Takes notes during department meetings, to facilitate follow-up
  • Follows up in the event of difficulty using tools by service members (writing tutorials, correcting formulas)
  • Reports monthly statistics for Recruitment & Career Managers in the dashboard
  • Updates the headquarters organization chart

Support for induction sessions

  • Ensures the preparation of induction sessions (headquarters, expatriate and national C1+ staff): centralization of lists of participants, sending invitations, coordination of schedules.
  • Provides logistical support to speakers and participants during the sessions

The team is made up of a Department Manager, 2 Assistants, 6 Recruitment & Careers Managers, a Support Manager and an intern

YOUR PROFILE

Student in a Human Resources or Communication course, entering Master 1 or Master 2 at the start of the 2024 school year.

Strong interest in the associative sector and in particular the humanitarian sector.

Good interpersonal skills, the role involving frequent exchanges with all headquarters and field staff.

Strong appetite for HR communication issues, as well as the use of recruitment tools.

Mastery of the most common office software (Word and Excel), good command of English

IF WILL OFFER YOU THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS

  • Position based at the Solidarités International headquarters, in Clichy la Garenne (Metro Mairie de Clichy). Possibility of teleworking (4 days/12 days per month)
  • Apprenticeship contract from 12 to 24 months***.***
  • Gross monthly remuneration according to the legal framework in force
  • 25 days of CP
  • Mutual insurance (80%), restaurant tickets (60%), transport tickets (50%) covered by the association
