INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY (SI) is an association of’international humanitarian aid which, for more than 40 years, has been
assistance to populations affected by armed conflict and natural disasters by meeting vital needs, drinking, eating, sheltering. Particularly engaged in the fight against diseases related to unhealthy’, the leading cause of death in the world, SI implements through its interventions an expertise in the field of’access to drinking’water,’sanitation and the promotion of hygiene but also in that, essential, food security and means of’. Present in about twenty countries, SI – 2000 teams in total composed of’expatriates, national staffs, permanent staff at headquarters, some volunteers…intervene with professionalism and commitment in respect of cultures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Solidarity International carries strong values of’engagement and professionalism. The recruitment and monitoring of expatriates is therefore key in the permanence of these values and more generally of’a humanitarian close to the populations.

Recruiting, following humanitarian workers throughout their mission and supporting them in the construction of their journey is therefore a formidable lever for this world to remain populated by committed professionals, technically good and humanly strong.

The HR department of Solidarities International is currently fully committed to a reorganization of its various services (Recruitment & Course ; National HR and HR Administration) which will lead to changes in the responsibilities of the various functions in the coming months.

In this sense, the/the Recruitment & Course Officer (CRP) will initially be in charge for the Emergency desk (non-exhaustive list) :

  • D’insure the internal and external recruitment of candidates for the missions of the’association and is guarantor of the HR monitoring of expatriates during the time of their mission. This implies to’ to listen to HR difficulties in the field, to know how to identify and solve problems (health, competence, behavior…) and report the alerts to the Desk and the service manager.
  • D’be involved in the dimensioning of the missions for which she/he is in charge (relevance of the set-ups, reflection on roles and responsibilities, etc, attention to the workload as well as the fluidity of communication patterns etc..).
  • Be a guarantor of compliance with Human Resources policies on the missions of its’allocation Desk and supports the missions on any issue relating to HR.
  • Being a force of proposal for the development and consolidation of the recruitment policy of Solidarities International and is in charge of managing the pool and making it dynamic.
  • Facilitate the HR modules from preparation to departure and participate in the HR projects of the department.

At the end of these first months and within the framework of the HR transformation project undertaken, the position will evolve in favor of’a contour more targeted on the management of recruitments in connection with the countries of’intervention.

As such (non-exhaustive list and Profile of Post in the process of being finalized) :

  • Recruitment of expatriates related to the trades of which he or she is in charge as well as the’analysis & reporting of service indicators
  • Management of the expatriate pool related to the trades of which he or she is in charge
  • Representation of SI during the forums & tradeshows for which he or she is in charge
  • Participation in the life of service

YOUR PROFILE

Solidarity International is interested in different types of profiles :

  • Former expatriates who have already demonstrated an appetite for human resources, held positions as HR Coordinator or Field Coordinator for example. Experiences in an emergency humanitarian mission’ really make the difference because they will allow a relevant support of expatriates.
  • People demonstrating HR technicality in recruitment in particular, on which they can rely to develop their understanding of the sector.

Mastery of the most common office software (Word and Excel) as well as’a very good command of’anglais are an imperative.

IF YOU WILL OFFER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS

  • Position based at the headquarters of Solidarities International, in Clichy la Garenne (Mairie de Clichy metro) with potential travel on French territory, during trade fairs and forums related to recruitment of its business sector
  • CDI Contract, Framework Status
  • Monthly gross remuneration of : 3 183 € or 3 316 € depending on the grid in force at the headquarters and the experiences of the candidates
  • Possibility of teleworking: 4 or 12 per month or 100% teleworking with 3 days of mandatory face-to-face per month. Following the profile and experiences of the candidates and in accordance with the current Telework Charter and the manager.
  • Leave : 2.0833 CP /month and 1 day RTT / full month of work
  • Mutual (80 %), restaurant tickets (60%), Ile de France tickets (50%) supported by the’association, Monthly 100% Telework package
