SCOPE OF WORK
This position aims to ensure the implementation of financial and accounting systems and procedures in accordance with approved regulations.

Responsibilities
Administrative tasks
- Coordinates and collaborates with departmental staff regarding departmental activities.
- Assists in preparing periodic financial reports on the department’s performance.
- Participates in internal meetings as assigned.
- Assists/regularly reviews the policy and procedure manual for the department.
- Presents proposals and developmental initiatives for departmental work.
Technical tasks

- Verify all expense-related documents, ensuring their integrity and compliance with approved policies and procedures.
- Participate in procurement, tenders, and practices in accordance with financial regulations, rules, and guidelines governing such activities.
- Enter all financial data provided by relevant departments (procurement, human resources, administration).
- Process expenditure permits after reviewing all submitted documentation.
- Review modifications to payroll, allowances, and compensation sheets, process and settle associated transactions.
- Print all accounting entries after input, sign them as a preparer, and submit them to the senior accounts officer or coordinator for review and verification.
- Provide periodic reports as required by financial management.
- Audit and review cash and bank financial operations, prepare files for payments through the bank.
- Enter all financial transactions received from the cash and bank department.
- Audit documentation related to Turkish financial operations.
- Perform other duties related to the nature of the job as assigned.
- Knowledge of local financial laws
Note: the above-mentioned responsibilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department’s organizational chart or title.
Qualification (Education/Work Experience)
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance ( accounting )
- A minimum of three 3 years experience in the field.
- A minimum of three 3 years experience in accounting programs .
- The Arabic language is the mother tongue and good level in English.
Preferred:
- Experience in accounting programs (Almanara . Quickbooks)
- 5 years experience in the field.
- Very good level in English .
- Good level in Turkish.
