L’Embassy of Switzerland in Tunis recruit a proactive, qualified and professional person for the position :
Responsible/e of National Programme/e (CPN)
(’ occupancy rate 80%-100%, CDD renewable)
General description of the spots :
- Identify, design and manage projects in Tunisia throughout the project cycle (PCM), in the socio-economic fields (education, social protection, etc, governance) with an integral approach that leaves no one behind.- Contribute to the identification and preparation, in close collaboration with the partners, of projects for their approval by the headquarters in Bern ;- Ensure the monitoring and control of the’ execution of projects, at the operational and financial level ;- Contribute to the preparation and development of key moments (pilot committees, follow-up missions, evaluations) of projects.
- Maintain a network of contacts with Swiss partners in Tunisia in order to coordinate projects and’ identify synergies.
- Participate in the discussions in networks, with the partners of Switzerland and the Tunisian authorities
- Support the preparation and organization of missions and field visits, as well as’organization of’public relations activities
Basic experience for the position :
- University education in social and economic sciences
- Demonstrated experience of’at least 2-3 years in the design and management of international cooperation projects, knowledge of topics related to socio-economic aspects
- Excellent ability to write and produce clear, concise and comprehensive reports.
- Experience in institutional and intercultural dialogue.
- Capacities of management,’organization and’autonomy.
- Ability to network with representatives of the government, civil society and the international community.
- Stress resistance and respect for diversity.
- Excellent mastery of the French language (written as at’oral)
- Good knowledge of Arabic and English languages (other languages are an asset)
- Flexibility for frequent travel within the country.
- Competence and experience in statistics (data and data analysis).
- Excellent measurement of computer tools (Excel, Powerpoint etc.).

Employment conditions
- Start : 1 May 2024 (or to be agreed)
- II is a fixed-term employment contract (CDD – duration of 1 year) with the possibility of extension.
- Only(e)s shortlisted candidate(e)s will be invited(e)s for an interview (including a written exam)
- The gross salary (100%) per annum will be between 108’00000 and 140’0000 TND (depending on the experience and training of the candidate), and is submitted to the CNSS and IRPP in accordance with the Tunisian labour code. Other advantages according to the rules of the Swiss department of foreign affairs.
