SENED Organization was established shortly after the Syrian Nakba and in response to the suffering of millions of Syrian refugees in Turkey as well as internally displaced people in Syria, to alleviate suffering, achieving justice, equality, and freedom, strengthening the role of civil society, and supporting and developing the local community. SENED works in the humanitarian work sectors to support, empower, and educate the community through several programs, takes exceptional care of people with disabilities and their families and defends their issues.
SENED Association emphasizes creating safe, accessible, and participation-encouraging living conditions for individuals’ emotional, intellectual, physical, and social development by focusing on people with disabilities. Beyond the medical perspective on disability, it tries to find solutions to the problems faced by disabled people with a holistic perspective by considering the disabled people, their families, and the society they live in, focusing on the conditions they experience. SENED Association aims to create a safe and supportive environment and space by conducting family-oriented activities to help disabled individuals and their families become stronger, discover their potential and stand by with their children. By collecting data on refugee-disabled people and identifying problems and needs, SENED strives to ensure harmony between disabled refugees and local people with a voluntary, professional team and a community-based approach. All activities, education, research, advocacy, etc., are carried out on platforms created by local and disabled refugee people.
Job Purpose
✓ The driver Assistant will be responsible for accompanying children with disabilities and their caregivers from their homes to Sened’s center in Darkoush and vice versa.
Key Activities/Tasks/Duties
The Driver Assistant will work in Darkush area under the direct responsibility of the Field Coordinator as follows:
• Accompanying children with disabilities while taking them from their places of residence to the center and vice versa in service vehicles to receive special education service.
• Accompanying children within the center and helping them reach the room of resources in Sened’s center .
• Maintaining the safety of children when getting on and off the bus .
• Maintaining the psychological and physical security and safety of beneficiaries.
• Follow up with the Special Education Assistant in coordinating the times of children’s arrival at the center.
• Implementing the scheduled plan for the times of transporting children from their places of residence to the center and vice versa by the designated service vehicles.
• Notifying the Special Education Assistant when the place of residence of a child benefiting from special education services changes.
• Assisting the Special Education Assistant in preparing tools for a session within the special education service.
• Assisting the Special Education team within the center with parenting skills activities when needed .
• Any other tasks requested by the specialist.
Note: the above mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities /accountability may be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.
Required Qualifications (Education/Languages/Work Experience)
● Education:
High school certificate at least
● Languages:
Fluency in Arabic.
● Experiences:
- 1-year experience working in the same field at least.
- Good background in working with children with disabilities.
- Verbal and oral communication skills.
- Sufficient knowledge in the humanitarian standards.

الغرض من الوظيفة
تكون مشرفة الباص مسؤولة عن مرافقة األطفال ذوي االعاقة ومقدمي رعايتهم من منازلهم إلى المركز وبالعكس في دركوش.
● وصف المسؤوليات والمهام: ستعمل مشرفة الباص في منطقة دركوش تحت المسؤولية المباشرة لمنسق المشروع وفقا للمهام ادناه: •
مرافقة األطفال من ذوي اإلعاقة اثناء اصطحابهم من أماكن اقامتهم الى المركز وبالعكس بسيارات الخدمة لتلقي خدمة التربية الخاصة
• مرافقة األطفال ضمن المركز ومساعدتهم في الوصول الى غرف األنشطة في مركز سند.
الحفاظ على سالمة األطفال داخل الباص وعند صعودهم ونزولهم منه.
• الحفاظ على أمن وسالمة المستفيدين النفسية والجسدية.
• المتابعة مع مساعد اخصائي التربية الخاصة في تنسيق مواعيد قدوم األطفال الى المركز
• تنفيذ الخطة المجدولة لمواعيد نقل األطفال من أماكن اقامتهم الى المركز والعكس بسيارات الخدمة المخصصة
• اعالم مساعد اخصائي التربية الخاصة عند تغير مكان إقامة طفل
• تقديم المساعدة لمساعد اخصائي التربية الخاصة في تحضير األدوات لجلسة ضمن خدمة التربية الخاصة عند الحاجة.
• تقديم المساعدة لفريق التربية الخاصة ضمن المركز بأنشطة المهارات الوالدية. • أي مهام أخرى تطلبها األخصائية.
● التعليم: شهادة بكالوريا كحد ادنى.
● اللغات: الطلاقة في اللغة العربية.
خبرة في هذا المنصب سنة على األقل أو أي مجال عمل ذو صلة.
خلفية جيدة في التعامل مع األطفال واالشخاص ذوي االعاقة.
مهارات تواصل كتابية وشفهية.
