Duties andResponsibilities
The consultant shall: 1. Undertake a desk review of available information, academic research and experiences, including at OHCHR, different UN entities and beyond, to inform the development of a study that spells out priority areas and targeted behavioural science-based interventions to support reduction of OHCHR’s environmental footprint. 2. Develop a clear time-bound results-based roadmap for the implementation of the interventions, including a plan to assess the impact of the pilot project. 3. Implement the roadmap in collaboration with different OHCHR entities, as relevant, and conduct an impact assessment. 4. Present the results in the form of a report to Senior Management, Sustainable Environmental Management (SEM) Group (and sub-groups), and other OHCHR entities, as needed, as well as to all OHCHR staff in a form to be determined, upon consultations with relevant stakeholders and after having incorporated their feedback.
Qualifications/special skillsAdvanced degree in behavioural science, behavioural economics, or related field is required. A minimum of two years of experience in the design, management and implementation of programmes applying behavioural science.is required. Experience in working with culturally diverse groups is required.
LanguagesFluency in English is required. Knowledge of other UN official language is an advantatge.
