Purpose of Contract: To strengthen the capabilities of Badael’s team in northeast Syria regarding community organizing and its practical implementation, alongside providing coaching and mentoring to campaign leaders and organizers on executing and managing campaigns, including the establishment of follow-up mechanisms.
Job Summary: Badael is in search of a community organizing expert with a demonstrated history of backing community organizing campaigns. This expert will deliver comprehensive training in community organizing and offer coaching and mentoring to campaign leaders and organizers. Additionally, they will empower Badael’s on-the-ground trainers to support community organizing rights holders. To guarantee the effectiveness of the training, the expert will educate participants on the objectives, components, and foundational principles of community organizing, the tactical steps necessary for campaign execution, and the process of devising strategic plans for community campaigns.
The consultant shall perform the following duties:
- Preparing the training material, which includes: the training agenda – an extensive training guide that includes practical exercises – presentations – evaluation forms for the participants.
- Provide community organizing training to campaign leaders and organizers.
- Coaching and mentoring, project team, campaigns organizers and leaders to ensure smooth implementation of the campaign activity, we have different campaigns in different locations.
- Sending a detailed report on the training, consultation, list of recommendations and Challenges, process that took place for the program team.
Expected deliverables:
- Conduct 6 online community organizing training.
- Offer coaching and mentoring sessions to the project team and campaign leaders.
- Assist the team in selecting the most promising campaign ideas.
- Deliver regular seasonal reports as well as a comprehensive final report.
