PUI works in 10 sectors of’intervention and is distinguished by the implementation of’an integrated approach in its response. This method aims to identify and understand the’ set of needs of people affected by a crisis. Our teams are mobilizing to provide a global response to the’ set of basic needs of populations victims of humanitarian crises in the’ emergency to allow them to regain autonomy and dignity.

Focus on our activities in CHAD

Our mission in CHAD has been in existence since 2004. PUI develops its integrated approach with health and nutrition, which are at the heart of its interventions. PUI is deployed in the’est of the country and provides support on the prevention and fight against malnutrition. Today’hui, the mission is working on 4 projects.

And the.the Chef·fe of Mission – Chad in all this?

As Head of Mission, you will be responsible for the proper functioning and development of the mission.

For this purpose, your responsibilities will be as follows :

• Security : You will be responsible for security on the mission
• Programs : You will coordinate the teams and ensure the proper implementation of the programs on the mission, you will follow the needs and propose new interventions and avenues of development for the mission.
• Human Resources : You will ensure the proper human dimensioning of the mission and supervise the teams (definition of’objectives, monitoring).
• Logistical, administrative and financial monitoring : You will ensure that the logistical and administrative practices in place respect the PUI procedures and formats and are in line with the regulations.
• Medical and technical follow-up : You will ensure that medical and technical practices comply with PUI procedures and formats and are in line with the PUI intervention policy’.
• Representation : You will represent the’association with partners, donors, media and various authorities.
• Headquarters Relations: You will ensure the proper flow of information between headquarters and the field and ensure that deadlines are met.

The challenges ahead of you:

1°/Expand volume of projects 2°/Assure the implementation of the Country strategy in connection with the Sudan and Cameroon missions 3°/ Strengthen the Nexus logic on the country while continuing to respond to emergencies

What’it will take you to succeed

• Training: You can justify a higher degree’ (min. Master 2 or equivalent) in a field related to humanitarian’action: project management, technical training related to’one of our sectors of intervention, human resources management, financial management, etc.
• Experience: You are strong of’ at least three years of’ field experience in international NGO, in project coordination. The’expatriate team management experience, in project management, and in safety management is indispensable. Have you ever held the position of Head.fe of Mission or equivalent in an international NGO? This will be highly appreciated. Have you worked with First International Emergency? It will be an undeniable asset!
• Skills: You master the management of humanitarian project and the management of’ team, you have a thorough knowledge of the main donors. You have excellent’ writing abilities.
• Qualities required: You show a good relational, an ease of communication, both at the’ and’oral, and you have the taste of teamwork. You demonstrate leadership and ability to make decisions, reliability and sense of responsibility, rigor and’organization, responsiveness and’adaptability. You have excellent resistance to stress and an ability to work under pressure.
• Languages: French doesn’t’a any secrets for you ? So much the better, it’is essential for this post ! If you also speak’arabe, it will also be an undeniable asset.

PUI will propose

• Status: Framework in Contract with Determined Duration
• Gross monthly salary: 3 330,00 – 3 930,00 EUR according to your experience in international solidarity + 50€ per semester of’seniority with PUI
• Assurance including medical and complementary health coverage, 24/24 assistance, repatriation and pension
• Hosting in individual housing
• Living expenses (« Per Diem »)
• Break regime: 5 Working days to 3 and 9 months mission + break premium
• Paid Leave Plan: 5 Weeks from CP/year + ticket’avion A/R at home every 6 months
