Business Development Officer At Edmaaj for Development and Training Consulting


Introduction:

Edmaaj seeks a dynamic and motivated Business Development Officer to join our team. The Business Development Officer will be vital in identifying and developing new business opportunities, building partnerships, and supporting project-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opportunity Discovery: Identify bidding and project opportunities aligned with the company’s service offerings.
  • Proposal Preparation: Write technical and financial proposals, including conducting research to support proposal content.
  • Marketing and Visibility: Assist in developing the company’s public profiles and increase the company networks of clients, stakeholders and partners on the local and international levels.
  • Project Implementation Support: Develop theoretical frameworks and contribute to methodology and work plan development during the proposal writing phase and the project’s inception phase after the project sign-off by the client. Additionally, engage with stakeholders and clients, representing Edmaaj in communication.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in full-time, part-time, or internship in Business Development/project management/research in the development field.
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with solid organizational skills.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office, excel and relevant software.
  • Adeptness at collaborative teamwork and working under pressure.
  • Knowledge of the NGO, CSO, or international development sectors.
  • Master’s degree is an asset.
