Duties andResponsibilities
Under the supervision of the Project Manager of the CTMD Digital Transformation project, and in collaboration with other team members, the individual consultant will: • Consult a variety of business units in the Division supporting the work of the UN Human Rights Mechanisms, incl. the Human Rights Council (HRC), the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), and the Human Rights Treaty Bodies • Produce comprehensive documentation that accurately captures business requirements, documents processes, and specifies required functionalities • Identify process improvement opportunities related to various workflows and procedures • Collaborate with technical teams to prepare implementation of technical functionalities • Prepare other documents as required, incl. meeting notes, briefings, or presentations
Qualifications/special skillsAdvanced degree in Business Analysis, Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Sciences, or related field • A minimum of five years of applied experience in business analysis of complex, interlocking processes and systems is required • Experience in production of the following diagrams or models is desirable: process/workflow diagrams, use case diagrams, state/activity diagrams, data models. • Experience in working with international organizations is desirable.
LanguagesFluency (oral and written) in English is required.
