We are currently seeking an Associate to be based out of Los Angeles. Miyamoto International is among the nation’s fastest growing structural engineering companies. Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on structural Engineering, Master’s preferred
- 10 years of experience in a comparable structural engineering company performing design of buildings and structures
- Client and project management experience on structural engineering projects from concept design through construction administration as lead engineer on projects with teams of 2 or more engineers and designers–projects must include commercial, residential, education, and healthcare with aviation projects, desired
- In depth experience with design of vertical structures of commonly used materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, and wood as project manager/project lead for engineering projects.
- OSHPD and DSA experienced; ASCE 41, or performance-based design, desired
- Proficiency in writing and oral presentations as well as possess excellent communication skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- PE license required; CA SE license desired as well as licensed in other states including AZ, TX, PR, and NV

The salary range for this position is $90k-$120k per year. Salary offers are determined using a variety of factors, including but not limited to: years of experience, education, depth of knowledge, geographic location, and equity with internal staff.
