Focus on our activities in CAR

Present since 2007 in CAR, PUI develops its integrated approach with programs in Health, Nutrition, Food Security and Water-Hygiene-Sanitation especially in the north of the country, in the prefecture of Bamingui Bangoran (Ndele). PUI supports in particular primary health centres and posts, in support of certain hospitals, while intervening in more remote areas via the deployment of mobile clinics, including, complemented by a community-based approach and a strengthening of the management of Severe Acute Malnutrition. PUI is also strongly involved in the rehabilitation of agro-pastoral production tools in the Ndele area and in strengthening the’ offer of services in Water, Hygiene and Sanitation. Logistically, in,PUI has developed a shared storage platform in Bangui for humanitarian partners. Today, the mission consists of 5 projects supported by the CDCS, BHA, AFD, UNICEF and AIDS.

And the.the Administrative & Financial Transmitter Coordinator in all this?

As an Administrative & Financial Coordinator, you will be responsible for sound financial management, including, accounting and budgeting for the Mission as well as the management of human resources and administrative and legal files. You will be the referent in this matter on the mission both internally and’en externally (donors, authorities, NGOs..).

For this purpose, your responsibilities will be as follows :

  • Financial, budgetary and accounting management : You will be responsible for all aspects of finance, including budget and accounting items, as well as the cash flow of the mission.
  • Human resources management : You will be responsible for the administrative management of national and international teams, defining / update of HR management procedures and tools in accordance with the labour regulations of the country of intervention and the HR policy of PUI, and, and monitoring of risks related to HR issues.
  • Administrative and legal management : You will supervise administrative files and ensure that the status and functioning of the mission are in legal compliance with the requirements of the country of intervention.
  • Representation : You will represent the’association with partners, authorities and various local actors involved in the financial, administrative, legal and human resources fields of the mission. You will be pro-active/ve in the development of the inter-NGO financial network of PUI (administrative, financial, legal, HR..).
  • Coordination : You will centralize and disseminate the’information within the mission and at headquarters for all matters relating to financial, administrative, administrative, legal and human resources of the mission and consolidate internal and external reporting in these same areas.

What you will need to succeed

  • Formation

You can justify a higher degree’ (min. Master 2 or equivalent) in financial management /accounting. Training in human resources management and/or project management will also be appreciated.

  • Experience

You have at least three years of’ experience in Financial Management/accounting. Have you already held positions related to these fields of activities in an international NGO? This will be highly appreciated. Have you worked with First International Emergency? It will be an undeniable asset!

  • Skills

You are proficient in financial management and team management, you have in-depth knowledge of the procedures of major institutional funders. Excel has no secrets for you, and you have a perfect command of the accounting software SAGA.

  • Qualities required

You show a good relationship, ease of communication, both in writing and orally, and you have a taste for teamwork. You demonstrate the ability to make decisions, reliability and a sense of responsibility, rigor and organization, responsiveness and adaptability. You have excellent resistance to stress and an ability to work under pressure.

  • Languages

French and’anglais have no secrets for you ? So much the better, it’is essential for this post !

PUI will propose

  • Status: Framework in Contract with Determined Duration
  • Gross monthly salary: 2 650,00 – 3 130,00 EUR according to your experience in international solidarity + 50€ per semester of seniority with PUI
  • Assurance including medical and complementary health coverage, 24/24 assistance, repatriation and pension
  • Hosting in collective house
  • Living expenses (“Per Diem”)
  • Break regime: 5 Working days to 3 and 9 months mission + break premium
  • Paid Leave Plan: 5 Weeks from CP/year + A/R air ticket at home every 6 months
