Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been the basis of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, in particular during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. YOUR POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role will be to identify and implement quality, relevant and innovative SMPS interventions in line with strategy, ACF and international standards and national policies.
Specifically, your missions will be :
– Feed the reflection on the strategy and positioning of the SMPS department ;
– Identify needs and contribute to project formulation ;
– Ensure the implementation, monitoring and reporting of SMPS projects ;
– Contribute to the Quality and Accountability processes and to the impact measurement of its programme ;
– Participate in the coordination, representation and partnerships of the ACF in your area of intervention ;
– Supervise and manage your teams ;
– Contribute to capitalization to technical development within its sector ;
– Guarantee and ensure the confidentiality of the data collected during SMPS activities.

YOUR PROFILE

You hold a BAC + 5 degree in clinical psychology.
You have an international experience of at least 1 year ideally with ACF or another NGO on an SMSP PR position. Experience in team management and training would be appreciated.
You have a good knowledge of project management tools (budget management, logistics, monitoring of indicators).
You also show diplomacy, good relational skills and adaptation (essential to work in Lower Kotto).
Knowledge of the commitment to ACF’s objectives and principles of intervention and standard documents would be an advantage.
