Mission :

Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director – Programs, you will be responsible for preparing project proposals, communications and reports intended for donors in the context of research and implementation of grants. You will also play a key role in formalizing and monitoring partnerships with State technical services and other NGOs. Finally, you will be closely associated with all of the mission’s fundraising and external communication campaigns.
More precisely, your role will be to:
Contribute to the implementation of the mission’s business development strategy, coordinate the process of developing and submitting project proposals, and ensure their quality Contribute to the identification of new opportunities financing, through the creation of a map of donors, donor information sheets, evaluations of our internal capacities, etc.
Coordinate the entire process of writing, review/validation and submission of project proposals
Ensure their consistency with the budget and the budgetary narrative
Manage the development and submission of reports to donors and local authorities at the subject of ongoing or completed projects Organize and supervise the process of preparation, review/validation and submission of external reports
Submit narrative reports while respecting as much as possible the deadlines and instructions set by headquarters, donors and the authorities in the country
Contribute to the good management of ongoing projects by monitoring grant contracts, holding regular meetings and compiling activity progress reports (APR)
Contribute to the development and good management of ACF partnerships with other NGOs and the Central African State Participate in the definition of partnerships with other NGOs (local or international)
Develop contractual partnership documents with these NGOs
Participate in the internal and external communication of the mission Contribute to the formalization of the strategy and plan “communication” action plan of the RCA mission
Produce and disseminate internally tools helping to understand and comply with donor compliance rules
Check compliance of the visibility displayed on each project with donor requirements and the donor’s graphic charter ‘ACF
Conduct short internal training courses, etc.

Profile :

You hold a Master’s degree in international relations, law, political science, humanitarian or development project management, or a related field, and you have significant field experience in humanitarian programs and/or within international NGOs.
You are flexible and able to work independently, under pressure and to tight deadlines. You can also quickly adapt to complex dynamics.
You have successfully written documents and reports for various donors and possess strong analytical skills and logical thinking, with great attention to detail.
You have a good knowledge of donor guidelines and regulations (ECHO, EU, etc.).
You have good knowledge of Gender (gender analysis), conflict sensitivity and partnership management. Ideally, you are familiar with the key areas of the program (nutrition, PMSC – gender protection, WASH, food security, etc.)
You are particularly good at communication, with excellent written English skills, oral and reading.
You are diplomatic, pragmatic and results-oriented.

Conditions of employment
Fixed-term contract under French law: 12 months
Gross monthly salary: from 2597 to 2968 euros depending on experience
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of the gross monthly salary
Increase in salary basic: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 729 euros net, paid in the field
Monthly context allowance: 300 euros
Child allowance: 1,500 euros per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6,000 euros/year)
Transport and accommodation: Coverage for travel and collective accommodation
Medical Coverage: 100% of coverage for health contributions (CFE + supplementary health insurance) and repatriation insurance
Salary maintenance schemes (sickness, maternity, paternity )
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; payment of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215 euros of fixed compensation per RnR
Support and training
Position based in Bangui with occasional trips to the bases if security permits.
