SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian aid association which, for more than 40 years, has provided relief to populations victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters by responding to vital needs, drinking, eating and shelter. Particularly committed to the fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the leading cause of death in the world, SI implements through its interventions expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and promotion hygiene but also in the essential aspect of food security and means of existence. Present in around twenty countries, SI teams – 3,000 people in total made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at headquarters, a few volunteers, etc. – intervene with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.

We also have a duty to inform and raise awareness among the general public of the battles we are waging. For this, we need you!
Join our delegation of volunteers in Pays de la Loire and participate in the various awareness-raising actions that take place throughout the year. Among these, one event remains unmissable: the Rendez-vous de l’Erdre festival in Nantes, which takes place this year from August 30 to September 1, 2024.
Your mission? Run a “Water Bar” stand with our teams on which we will distribute drinking water to festival-goers, while raising awareness of the importance of access to drinking water for everyone in the world, all in a spirit of conviviality and solidarity. We need you to raise awareness among the general public about the needs of the most vulnerable populations.
Are you motivated to support our cause and relay our messages to as many people as possible during the festival? Are you available for a few hours, half a day, or several days? Ideally, do you have an accommodation solution in Nantes, or in the surrounding area? If you match this profile, we welcome you with open arms to this human adventure within our delegation of volunteers!
