About: Action Against Hunger

Present in Ile de France and Marseille, ACF acts in France in a dynamic of support and complementarity with actors in the fight against exclusion, poverty and inequality. Our action is based on a solid experience gained internationally and aims to ensure food security for the most vulnerable. ACF works to characterise food security and ensure dignified access for all to adequate, healthy and sustainable food.

ACF acts in France at 3 levels :
at the level of the actors of access to food: diagnosis of profiles and needs and support for the change of operational modalities
– At the territorial level: support for coordination and linking of actors for a multidimensional approach
at the level of public policies: work of technical influence and advocacy for the right to food

We are looking for a· Programmes Coordinator, in order to guarantee the quality, relevance and innovation of the Mission France programs by accompanying and coordinating the teams in the definition, of, implementation and capitalization.

Mission :

Under the supervision of the Country Director – Mission France, your role will be to :

Contribute to the definition of the mission strategy and its operational declination
Analyze and follow the context
Contribute to the definition and implementation of the operational strategy and the annual action plan, in particular on programme and technical aspects
Contribute to the monitoring and harmonization of the Mission France strategy with the domestic programs and advocacy carried out by ACF in Europe
Coordinate the identification of needs, the formulation of project proposals and the framing of partnerships associated with projects
Coordinate the needs analysis and feasibility studies of projects
Support the project· managers in the framing and writing of project proposals and revision
Participate in the framing, dissemination and support of the implementation of tools for defining and monitoring operational partnerships
Support the development of research projects and the exploration of scientific and technical partnership modalities
Contribute to donor prospecting
To support the implementation of projects and to guarantee the quality and accountability of projects
Coordinate, consolidate, develop, disseminate and implement project management tools and processes and WILL BE adapted to the activities carried out and context of intervention
To be a support to the project· managers in the framing and deployment of projects and the issuance of operational and technical recommendations (and alert in case of major difficulties)
Be a technical support team and guarantee the technical and legal compliance of programs (including GDPR) by coordinating the relevant support
Ad hoc, directly supervise the preparation and deployment of projects with a national scope and including collaboration with research actors
Ensure the quality of the reporting and capitalization of projects and guarantee the coordination and internal circulation of learning
Participate in the representation and active participation of ACF in national and local external coordination and ensure the establishment and/or consolidation of national partnerships
Managing teams

Profile :

You hold a Master 2 general education (international relations, political sciences) or specialized in international development/humanitarian action management or in one of the technical areas of expertise of ACF.
You have at least 7-8 years of experience in the field of the management of humanitarian or development projects, social assistance and/or food democracy in France, with at least 4 years on coordination posts.
You have skills in mobilizing and facilitating a network of partners, as well as in internal mobilization of resources and capitalization for a change in practices and adaptation of strategies.
You have already worked successfully in the management and the reinforcement of skills, the accompaniment of teams. You have excellent leadership skills.
You have a very good capacity for analysis, synthesis, strategic thinking and definition of positioning and representation.
You know and have an interest in the political, economic and social context in France, as well as for the situation of people in great precariousness in France and for the interventions of associative actors targeting them.

Employment conditions
Status : Integrated Framework – 12-month CSD until 22/09/2025 – Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From 40K to 49Keuros gross annual over 13 months according to experience
Advantages: 21 days of RTT
Health coverage, pension : Support at 80% by ACF
Salary maintenance devices (illness, maternity, paternity)
Transport Allowances : Support at 50% of the package between the home and the workplace
Tickets-restaurant (Lunch Card Up): Support at 60% by the association for a value of 8 euros
Social works of the CSE
Teleworking: Teleworking open to all from the metropolitan territory
For this position, a mandatory presence at headquarters has been defined for 12 days per month
Collective attendance times imposed /also mandatory by the employer : for meetings and collective events (up to 3 days per month) and 2 days of mandatory presence during your integration into the team
