About: Action Against Hunger
Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been the basis of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, in particular during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Mission :
Under the supervision of the Accounting Service Manager, your role will be to ensure legal and tax monitoring and to accompany the implementation of new accounting regulations in the context of the project ” Terrain Accounting System “.
Specifically, your missions will be as follows :
Implement the regulation of the field accounting system in the countries concerned and contribute to the development of the accounting of ACF France entities.
Accompany the regional referents from an accounting technical point of view with a view to supporting the annual closure.
Participate in the training materials needed by teams in the field.
Actively participate in the project committee (submission support, information).
Follow the implementation of a commitment accounting (accounting plan to adapt and closing entries to validate).
Ensure legal monitoring and monitor compliance with legal obligations at the level of headquarters accounting.
Ensure the preparation and delivery of the project work file to the accountant at headquarters for validation.
Participate in the development of the specifications for the implementation of the Terrain Accounting System.
Participate in the definition of the needs of the tool.
Field trips are possible to accompany the finance teams within our Country Offices.
Profile :
You have a higher education in accounting (DCG and/or DSCG). You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting.
You have the ability to identify and analyze accounting and budgetary issues, and to formulate recommendations and/or alerts for their resolution to the appropriate interlocutors.
You know how to use accounting techniques and account revision methods. Mastery of financial software (SAGA and UBW) is essential.
You are organized and able to manage priorities.
You are recognized· for your strength of conviction and your communication skills (written and oral).
Participation in a project to bring the accounting regulations into compliance would be a plus.
Employment conditions
Status : Integrated Framework – 12-month CSD – Full-time
Start date: ASAP
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From 40K to 49Keuros gross annual over 13 months according to experience
Seniority bonus from 3 years of presence at headquarters
