About: Action Against Hunger
Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been the basis of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, in particular during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Safety and Ways of Existence – Water, Health, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Mission :
Under the responsibility of the Head of Legal Department, your missions will be as follows :
Supervise and support the development of ACF’s legal practices aimed at compliance with the relevant regulatory environment and ensuring the protection of ACF’s strategic interests.
Support the negotiation and ensure the drafting and/or review of high-stakes contracts for ACF (financial, technical, operational partnerships, etc, licenses or assignments of rights) and for ACF International when mandated by the General Management of ACF.
Support legal risk management of ACF strategic and/or operational projects.
Contribute to the control of the legal and regulatory risks associated with the design and implementation of projects led by the General Management, the Audit department, etc, Risks and Compliance or any other working group that requires it.
Represent ACF in the direct management of cases with a high legal, contractual or regulatory impact.
Ensure the necessary accountability to third parties.
Contribute to the dissemination of a risk culture within the structure and ensure a strengthening of the control of legal or contractual risks.
Ensure employee awareness of major or emerging legal risks and put in place the necessary supports.
Profile :
Master 2 in business law and/or contract law, you also have professional experience in intellectual property law. You have an interest in the NGO sector.
You know how to draft all types of contractual and legal documents in a domestic and international legal environment.
You are able to identify legal risks and offer recommendations tailored to the interlocutor, and adapt in order to understand foreign legal systems, if any, with external advice.
You know how to organize your work and priorities. You can manage multiple files at the same time. You are listening and able to establish a relationship of trust.
You know how to communicate effectively in writing and orally, demonstrate pedagogy and adapt your communication style to your interlocutors.

Status : Integrated Framework – CDI – Full-time
Start date: 02/09/2024
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From 40K to 49Keuros gross annual over 13 months according to experience
Seniority bonus from 3 years of presence at headquarters

No mandatory face-to-face on this position, outside of collective face-to-face times.
