Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) for emergency relief and development. SIF operates with strict neutrality, without distinction of origin, gender or religion, and is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the world’s most deprived populations.
Your main missions will be the following (non-exhaustive and evolving list):
- Define the Water and Sanitation component of the SIF humanitarian strategy and monitor its implementation
- Ensure the optimization of the quality of SIF EHA projects and reporting
- Ensure monitoring and analysis of the situation related to Water, Hygiene and Sanitation in order to anticipate needs
- Ensure technical monitoring in order to integrate technological innovations and improve the effectiveness of the responses provided by the SIF
- Ensure compliance and implementation of tools to improve the quality of EHA projects
- Define monitoring indicators (SMART) and ensure the consistency and reliability of reporting
- Write technical job descriptions relating to missions and geographic desks
- Participate in the positioning of the SIF on issues related to EHA
- Represent the technical expertise of the SIF to donors, research centers, universities, companies, large coordination groups, etc.
- Produce and distribute technical documents internally and externally relating to the desks
- Participate in writing articles for internal and external communication
- Required diploma: Bac +5 in Water and Sanitation or Hydraulic Engineer
- Initial experience in international project management desired
- Competence in coordination and management of EHA projects abroad
- Capacity for assessing technical skills in the field of EHA
- English proficiency
