INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY(SI) is an association of’international humanitarian aid which, for more than 40 years, has been helping people who are victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters by meeting the vital needs, drinking, eating, sheltering. Particularly engaged in the fight against diseases related to unhealthy’, the leading cause of mortality in the world, SI implements through its interventions an expertise in the field of access to DRINKING’water,’ sanitation and the promotion of’ hygiene but also in the essential, food security and means of existence. Present in 26 countries, the SI teams – 3,200 people in total composed of’expatriates, national employees, permanent staff at the headquarters, some volunteers – intervene with professionalism and commitment in the respect of cultures.

Description of the pos te

Finance & Administration

Accounting and treasury :

  • Consolidate monthly accounting data
  • Tracks receipts, payments and repayments and updates the monitoring table of receipts of cross-sector projects.
  • Pilots the follow-up of the refills and refunds ad hoc to the activities set up in the field.

Financial control:

  • Supports review and control of contracts with donors prior to signature.
  • Prepares analytical project settings in SAGA, NAV and budget monitoring.
  • Consolidates and updates monthly budget follow-ups of projects.
  • Prepares interim and final financial reports /monitors financial reports
  • Realizes the closing sheets of completed projects.
  • Updates the shared cost allocation table’
  • Supports cross-functional teams and project managers on financial topics
  • Participates in the financial validation of’achats files

Audit and administration :

  • Assists the missions on the tasks related to the’registration and taxation
  • Prepares donor audits carried out at headquarters and on the ground

Logistical

  • Ensures compliance with logistical procedures and contributes to the dissemination of good purchasing practices
  • Ensures the link between the transversal project teams and the’ supply team is responsible for monitoring purchases
  • Ensures the proper management of equipment
  • Offers continuous improvement of logistics management tools

Contract management, grants and partnerships :

  • Contributes to the’ analysis of the terms of donor contracts and their annexes before signature
  • Contributes to the preparation of agreements with sub-recipients when SI is lead, as well as appendices and reporting formats
  • Ensures the monitoring of reporting deadlines (narrative and financial),
  • Participates in the drafting of the intermediate and final narrative reports in accordance with donor requirements and if necessary submit them to the lessor after validation of the responsible
  • Participates in the development of new project proposals /request for modification on ongoing projects
  • Contributes to the update of the monthly follow-up on the Grant & Partnerships component

Your profile

  • Training in finance, management, project management or logistics
  • First NGO experience in a field position, desired.
  • Experience on logistics functions or grants appreciated.
  • Mastery of the most common office software (Word and Excel).
  • Mastery of’anglais and French compulsory.

IF will offer you the following conditions

  • Position based at the headquarters of Solidarity International, in Clichy la Garenne (Mairie de Clichy Metro) with occasional trips on the ground
  • CDD Contract, Framework Status
  • Monthly gross remuneration of : 2 865 € or 2985 € depending on the grid in force at the headquarters and experiences of candidate.es
  • Possibility of teleworking: 4 or 12 per month or 100% teleworking with 3 days of mandatory face-to-face per month. Next profile and experiences of candidate.es and in accordance with the current Telework Charter and the manager.
  • Leave : 2.0833 CP /month and 1 day RTT / full month of work
  • Mutual (80 %), restaurant tickets (60%), Ile de France tickets (50%) supported by the’association, Monthly 100% Telework package
  • Days of recovery and medical coverage taken care of 100% during the field trips
