The Sahel Regional Fund (SRF), hosted by the Danish Refugee Council, started in June 2022. This regional humanitarian fund, supported by UK Aid (FCDO), targets rural areas affected by conflict, which are difficult to access, underfunded and facing an influx of displaced people in the central Sahel (Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger), the Lake Chad basin and eastern Chad
This mid-term evaluation, scheduled for 2024, will aim to assess progress towards the objectives of the SRF, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and, and to ensure that the SRF is on track to achieve its intended results. This evaluation will help inform necessary adjustments to strategies and resources, and will use SRF change theory as the primary framework for assessing progress made by SRF.
Accordingly, the DRC hereby requests that you submit your proposal on the basis of this RFP and the terms of reference (RDTs) in Appendix H.
