Job objective
The representative is in charge of managing the entire operations of Fondation Hirondelle in Burkina Faso, in particular the Studio Yafa project and all its components . He locally embodies the Hirondelle Foundation, its values, its mission and enforces its regulatory framework. He/she contributes to and implements the country strategy, providing vision and strategic direction to the information and dialogue promotion work carried out by Fondation Hirondelle. It guarantees effective management as well as continuous improvement of the quality and impact of current programs. He/she continues the development of Fondation Hirondelle’s activities in the country, including in particular the search for financing, and ensures the adequacy and good management of human, financial and material resources.
The profile sought:
- You have several years of experience as a country director / head of mission in the field of development or humanitarian aid in Africa, ideally in Burkina;
- You have worked in conflict zones or fragile contexts;
- You are a leader and have strong team management skills (please indicate in your application the number of employees supervised directly and indirectly);
- You have a perfect command of the project cycle as well as planning and financial management (please indicate in your application the volume of budgets managed);
- You have excellent knowledge of donors and their requirements (please indicate which ones in your application;
- You have strong analytical, synthesis and writing skills;
- You have a perfect command of French; English is a plus;
- You know the media field;
- You have a stress-resistant, versatile and solution-oriented personality.
