Context

CARE implements emergency and development projects in complementary areas: education, food security, health, drinking water, development of income-generating activities by involving communities and collaborating with local partners. CARE defends women’s rights and supports their empowerment. In 2023, CARE France intervened in 51 countries and is in charge of managing CARE International’s country offices in Lebanon, Cameroon and Madagascar. The annual volume of resources is €67 million. The team brings together 75 employees based at the Headquarters and around twenty expatriates. Mission Description

General objective

Within the donation collection department, reporting to the Department Manager, the Regular Donations and Donor Relations Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the regular donation collection strategy and ensuring the supervision of donor relations.

Function 1 – Develop, manage and implement the regular donation collection program

  • Manage the face-to-face program:
    • Selection, management, supervision and monitoring of service providers
    • Training of recruiters
    • Quality monitoring
    • Representation of CARE within the CNFF and participation in the various working groups in the sector
  • Propose and manage diversification and acquisition operations for regular donors: leads-to-call… in conjunction with the digital fundraising manager
  • Manage upgrade and reactivation telemarketing campaigns: training telemarketing teams, writing content and materials, qualitative listening
  • Propose a loyalty plan for regular donors, be the guarantor of the support and content for the loyalty of regular donors, participate in internal working groups on the supporter journey for regular donors
  • Manage contracts, budget and invoicing for regular donations
  • Monitor throughout the year the achievement of revenue and expenditure targets within the scope and propose, where appropriate, corrective measures to meet the targets
  • Analyze the results and profitability of operations, update dashboards and prepare monthly reporting
  • Produce quantitative and possibly qualitative analyses and studies on the scope
  • Constant monitoring of new techniques for recruiting and retaining regular donors
  • Ensure the quality of the database within its scope and the proper functioning of flows between the different service providers and the database
  • Working with the CARE International network and the sector in France on the theme of regular donors

Function 2 – Supervise the team under his responsibility

  • Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate, support the professional development of the people under his responsibility (3 people currently).

Function 3 – Drive a vision of donor relations

  • Ensuring the quality of the donor relationship
  • Propose processes and developments to improve the productivity and profitability of actions while guaranteeing quality

Profile sought

Training and Experience:

  • Bac+5 Business school, specialization in marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising and/or marketing, ideally in an association or fundraising agency or face to face
  • Experience with face-to-face channel and donor database management would be a plus

Skills and qualities required:

  • Be able to design a collection action plan and manage budgets
  • Appetite for the face-to-face channel: ability to train, bring teams on board and mobilize them around our missions
  • Mastery of management fundamentals
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong ease with numbers and solid ability to analyze results and produce reports
  • Good interpersonal skills and team spirit
  • Ability to work in a complex environment including numerous service providers and coordination of associations
  • Great rigor and organization
  • Autonomy and initiative
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in database/CRM tools and reporting and data visualization tools
  • Mastery of IT tools: Office Pack, CRM
  • Good level of English

Conditions and terms of application

Contract: Permanent contract

Status: Executive

Start date: As soon as possible

Salary: between €44,368.20 and €47,316.49 gross per year depending on the profile and according to the CARE salary scale. Benefits: mutual insurance covered 100% by CARE France; meal vouchers with a face value of €9, of which €5 is covered by CARE France; 75% reimbursement of public transport network subscriptions or sustainable mobility package; possibility of partial teleworking from the 3rd week of the contract (package of 40 or 80 days of teleworking in the first year; 120 days from one year of seniority).

Workplace : CARE France headquarters, 71 rue Archereau – 75 019 Paris (until the end of December 2024) and Pantin (93500) – RER E Pantin or Hoche metro from January 2025
