Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) for emergency relief and development. SIF acts in strict neutrality, without distinction of origin, gender or religion and is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the poorest populations in the world.
SIF is looking for a REFERENT ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE for its offices located in Massy.
Context
Your main missions will be the following (non-exhaustive and evolving list):
- Contribute to the development and strengthening of environmental and climate issues in the operational strategy of FIS.
- Participate in the development of’tools for the implementation of climate/environment policies in FIS projects and to improve the quality of FIS interventions
- Support missions to monitor projects with a strong climate/environment component
- Participate in the Green Team SIF headquarters and participate in the technical monitoring in the climate/environment sector to improve the quality of the responses provided by the SIF
- Contribute to the writing of supports for internal and external communication in connection with topics in favor of the preservation of the’environment
Profile
- Diploma required: Generalist master in international relations, socio-economic development or equivalent
- 3 Years minimum
- Capacity of synthesis and’analysis
- Ability in terms of interpersonal communication
- Mastery of the project cycle and international humanitarian standards
- Control of the consideration of climate risks in projects and of the’ environmental impact of projects
- Current english
Conditions
- Framework Status
- CDI, full-time
- Start mid-October 2023
- 15 Days of recovery as part of the day package
