Focus on Africa 2
The Africa 2 cluster consists of 4 people at headquarters. The mission of its members is to provide support to the countries of the zone (Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Libya, CAR and Senegal).
And the· manager of follow-up projects and donor contracts desk Africa 2 in all this?
As a TRAM supervisor for monitoring donor projects and contracts, you will ensure the preparation of project proposals and the drafting of reports in accordance with the filing and reporting schedule applicable to the missions of the pole in compliance with the procedures of the’Association for the area you will be in charge of.
For this purpose, your responsibilities will be as follows :
Project proposals : You will participate in the drafting, revision of the substance and form of new project proposals. You will participate in the preparation of the’ set of documents for donors as part of the new proposals. You will follow the’ elaboration of budgets for new proposals, in order to ASSure consistency with the narrative parts.
Project monitoring: You will actively participate in the fulfillment of donor contractual obligations and contribute to the production, verification and capitalization of analytical narrative reports for ongoing projects.
The challenges ahead of you:
Large volume of work and therefore the challenge of good organization between the priorities of the 6 missions of the cluster ; More or less important involvement in support / capacity building of missions according to their respective levels ; Coordination between the different members of the cluster (Finance, Log, etc, technical services) for the review of project proposals and reports in compliance with deadlines and donor requirements. – Special investment in monitoring developments of French donors (AFD, CDCS, etc, CIAA, etc.). – Participation in the’accompanying the’assistant.e pole.
What you will need to succeed
- Training: You can justify a higher degree’ (min. Master 2 or equivalent) in project management.
- Experience: You are strong of’an experience similar to the headquarters of’an NGO or at least 1 year of’experience in management of projects financed by institutional donors. Have you worked with First International Emergency? It will be an undeniable asset!
- Skills: You have practical knowledge of humanitarian programmes and the project cycle. You have excellent writing and formatting skills in both French and English language as well.
- Qualities required: You have capacities of’analysis, reflection and you are autonomous. You show a good relationship, ease of communication, both in writing and orally, and you have a taste for teamwork. You demonstrate reliability and a sense of responsibility, rigor and organization, responsiveness and adaptability. You have excellent resistance to stress, an ability to work under pressure and a sense of’.

The missions covered are very diverse both in their humanitarian issues and in their own operational context and require appropriate support. PUI will propose
- Status: Employee(e)
- Salary: 2700 EUR gross monthly over 12 months
- Medical coverage: 80% of the mutual Health and Providence
- Support: Support up to 50% of the ticket and up to 60% of Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of 9€)
- Rest: 5 weeks of paid leave per year + 1 RTT per month (37h/week)
