Code of Conduct

Nasaem Khair Code of Conduct reflects the profession’s core set of beliefs and values of care, respect, trust, and integrity. These beliefs and values are fundamental to NKO employees, volunteers, interns, consultants, officers’ coordinators, and directors to guide their practice and conduct.

Job description:

  • Assisting the Project Manager: Assist and support the Project Manager in planning and coordinating project activities and tasks. This includes creating schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring that project deliverables are met on time. The assisting project manager will also be responsible for organizing meetings, taking notes, and distributing project documentation to team members. Additionally, they will help in identifying and managing risks, as well as communicating updates to stakeholders. Overall, the assisting project manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of the project under the guidance of the project manager.
  • Effective Communication: Effective communication with the donor, department, and field team and daily work follow-up to ensure the project’s smooth running and address any issues promptly, in addition to representing the organization at meetings and workshops on behalf of the project manager. This includes preparing reports, presentations, and other communication materials to keep stakeholders informed about the project’s progress. The assisting project manager also facilitates effective communication between team members, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards the same goals. By actively engaging with stakeholders and maintaining open lines of communication, the assisting project manager helps to build trust and foster collaboration, which are essential for project success.
  • Documentation and Archiving: Reviewing daily and weekly work reports is in line with the project manager’s goal to stay informed about project progress and potential issues, such as archiving project documents, meeting records, and distribution documents. This ensures that there is a comprehensive record of the project’s activities and decisions, making it easier to track progress and understand any challenges that may arise in the future. Archiving these documents also allows for easy access and reference, which is especially helpful when new team members join the project or when conducting post-project analysis. Overall, effective documentation and archiving practices contribute to project transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Procurement and Logistics: The Rise of PRs and Follow-up with Procurement and Logistics Related to the Project Procurement and Finance Departments This includes ensuring that purchase requisitions (PRs) are submitted accurately and on time and following up with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure that the necessary supplies and resources are procured and delivered as per the project requirements. Effective documentation and archiving practices play a crucial role in this process as well, as they allow for easy tracking and reference of all procurement and logistics activities. This ensures that any issues or delays can be identified and addressed promptly, minimizing disruptions to the project timeline and overall success.
