Focus on the Communication Service

The Communication Service consists of 4 people. The mission of its members is to highlight the actions of the association around the world.

What about the Operational Communication Officer in all of this?

As Operational Communication Officer(e), your mission is to’identify, energize and coordinate the communication initiatives of International First Emergency Missions. You are the relay between the field and the communications expertise of the headquarters (press relations, digital communication, fundraising, content production, events, etc.).

For this purpose, your responsibilities will be as follows :

Development of the communication strategies of the missions and of the communication plans specific to the projects. You will provide advice, assistance and support to headquarters and mission operational staff in their communication activities. You will accompany the missions in the achievement of their objectives and the respect of the requirements of the donors.

Contribution to the institutional communication strategy of the’association: you bring up the quality content of the field to participate in the development of the reputation of the’organization.

Event : you contribute to the’organisation of’events aiming to increase the notoriety of the structure, both in the countries of intervention and’ with the general public in France.

You transmit to the teams in the field your technical knowledge in communication with the aim of’autonomizing the missions in the management of their communication strategy.

• Encouraging operational teams to provide quality communication content. • Production of content in a variety of formats for the different communication channels of the’organisation (Exercise diplomacy and’adaptability with diverse teams

What you will need to succeed

Formation

You can justify a higher degree in Communication or Journalism.

Experience

You are strong(e) d’an experience of’at least 2 years in the communication of’non-governmental organizations. You know the workings and constraints of field operations, and you have already been to difficult areas.

Skills

You have excellent skills of drafting, of’maintenance of’a network of collaborators and project management. As a communication professional, you also master the tools and challenges of digital and audiovisual communication.

Qualities required

You show’an excellent relational,’an ease of communication and teamwork in a multicultural context. You feel invested, committed and demonstrate the rigor of’organization, reactivity and’adaptability.

Languages

You have an excellent level in French in English. Arabic and Spanish skills are highly appreciated.

PUI will propose

Status: Framework

Salary: 3000.00 EUR gross monthly over 12 months, according to experience

Medical coverage: 80% of the mutual Health and Providence

Support: Support up to 50% of the ticket and up to 60% of Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of 9€)

Rest: 5 weeks of paid leave per year + 1 RTT per month (37h/week)

One telework policy flexible, based on three modalities.
