Médecins Sans Frontières, an international humanitarian medical association created in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened: mainly in the event of armed conflicts, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters or even exclusion from care. The French section is present in around thirty countries.
As part of a temporary creation we are looking for a: Logistics Project Management Manager (M/F).
Mission :
Within the MSF OCP Logistics department, in the Projects and Innovation Department, the logistics project management manager ensures operational management, monitoring and reporting of the activity of the project portfolio(s) entrusted to him. He also coordinates the monitoring of achievements and the budget of these projects. It standardizes administrative processes and provides support on all aspects of project management by optimizing the management of activities from a relational, organizational and administrative point of view.
Main responsibilities :
Under the hierarchical responsibility of the head of the Projects and Innovation Center of the logistics department, he will ensure the following activities:
Define and implement project management processes for the logistics department.
- Implement good project management practices: standards, methods, documents and necessary processes.
- Advise the department director and department managers on project methodology (project management standard, use of tools, definition of management indicators, planning, reports, etc.).
Management of the department’s project portfolio.
- Organize and contribute to the construction of the department’s project roadmap
- Ensure monitoring of the project portfolio (planning, resources, progress reports, etc.)
- Prepare consolidated project activity reports
- Organize the conservation and monitoring of decisions taken during meetings and update decisions and actions taken, ensure version tracking and archiving
- Ensure the management and conservation of project files (documentation, minutes, status reports, legal contracts, and any other relevant documents, etc.)
Piloting, implementation and individualized management of different projects.
- Ensure and contribute to monitoring and leading the progress of each project in terms of organization, technical support and planning.
- Ensure the development, analysis and budgetary monitoring of the project(s): monthly budgetary monitoring, anomaly reports, etc.
- Assist project teams in the development of presentations and effective communications actions (COPIL, Events, etc.)
Communication and management of transversality around projects.
- Update and facilitate the exchange of information on the stages of the project and official documentation with stakeholders (intranet management, collaborative platform, etc.)
- Present the projects on the department’s internal and external communication media.
Required profile :
Training: Master 2 level specialized in project management or equivalent.
Experiences:
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience managing projects involving a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Field experience with MSF or another NGO is a prerequisite.
- Experience as a coordinator will be an asset.
SKILLS :
- Very good knowledge of project management tools and methodology.
- Good knowledge of financial management and budget monitoring.
- Mastery of communication techniques.
- Mastery of the office pack (Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Relational and editorial qualities.
- Excellent sense of organization and planning, rigor and autonomy.
- Analytical and synthesis qualities, ability to have an overall vision.
Required qualities :
- Responsiveness to problems, pragmatism and search for solutions, ability to adapt.
- Appreciation for humanitarian logistics themes.
- Ability to work in multicultural teams and with external partners.
Languages: Written and oral mastery of French and English required (level C1 French, B2 English).
Status: 18-month full-time fixed-term contract, 35 hours per week. Executive position, based in Paris.
Conditions :
49.7K annual gross over 13 months.
Restaurant vouchers with a face value of €11 (60% covered by Médecins Sans Frontières).
Supplementary health care 100% covered by MSF. 50% coverage of the public transport subscription. 22 days of RTT per year.
Position to be filled: Ideally June 2024.
