Job Summary:

You will coordinate the implementation of all day-to-day activities to ensure that all programs and operations have the necessary goods and services when they are needed to support the delivery of quality programs to poor and vulnerable people. Your knowledge and experience will enable you to coordinate food and logistics needs and challenges and implement solutions, while applying the principles of virtuous management, integrity, transparency and accountability.

Job Responsibilities:
•Archive all supporting documents used to record properties in a manner that facilitates review and verification.
•Assign a unique identification number/tag to properties at the time of acquisition. Identification numbers must maintain their chronological order and must be consistently applied in the main office and sub-offices.
•Ensure that identification numbers affixed to properties are legible at all times and replace old and faded ones.
•Maintain a permanent record of all properties of the organization. This includes properties in the main office, sub-office warehouse, temporary offices (in case of emergency), satellite stores, etc.
•Identify properties that are damaged, decommissioned and transferred to other organizations on loan, donation or any other approved means. DSA!!!
•Track transfer of properties between and among staff/departments and update the permanent record accordingly. PROPERTY LOCATION!!!
● Work in coordination with the supply chain team and relevant program staff in logistics services that meet the requirements of the supply chains. Help identify difficulties in supply chain management and provide recommendations to address them.

Support the implementation of delivery operations from the arrival of goods in country (or local point of purchase) to warehouses and final distribution centers, in accordance with CRS and donor regulations and international and local standards and requirements for the supply chain.
● Collaborate and communicate with the procurement team to ensure that they receive purchase requests on time with complete specifications, delivery schedules and other terms and conditions, including for labeling, branding and promotion.
● Provide regular coaching and support to CRS and partner staff and workers to ensure that they have the capacity to implement logistics processes accurately, consistently and transparently and to comply with safety, security and health requirements.
● Help coordinate and supervise activities related to the receipt, transport, distribution and disposal of commodities. Liaise with marine surveyors, C&F agents, transport manager, partners and other parties to ensure timely receipt and distribution of goods.
● Maintain up-to-date records with all necessary logistics documents and verify that all supply chain management activities and movement are fully and accurately documented. Prepare and/or review all reports prior to submission, as per distribution requirements.

Education, Experience and Abilities Required
Education and Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or other relevant degree preferred. Professional certification(s) in Supply Chain or equivalent field is a plus.
● Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Procurement management, preferably in an international organization.
● Knowledge of political dynamics along the chain, infrastructure, market and corresponding laws and regulations.
● Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with commodity tracking systems is a plus.
