Task Description: IFC is seeking a local consultant to support the delivery of the APEX Green Investment Diagnostic for Bangkok, Thailand. The consultant will serve as the APEX team’s local liaison with the city government, as well as take responsibility for data collection efforts.
Specifically, the consultant will be responsible for the following deliverables: Completed APEX Data Capture Form
The consultant will:
- Work independently and with the city government to identify data sources, follow-up on data leads, and retrieve data necessary to complete the APEX Analysis;
- Clean and translate data into an appropriate format so that it can be used in the APEX Tool; and
- Track and report all important metadata, including data sources, data adjustments, and other important characteristics (i.e., data year, geography covered, units, source contact information, etc.).
APEX Workshops with local officials
The consultant will arrange workshops with city officials from across relevant sectors and the APEX team to review data, proposed measures, and identify other investment, policy, and planning opportunities in the city.
Contributions to the APEX Green Cities Analysis and Green Investment Diagnostic
The consultant will support the APEX team and make contributions to the Draft and Final Green Investment Diagnostic report.
Report on lessons learned
The consultant will produce a brief report on the lessons learned and best practices discovered during the engagement with the city government and data collection efforts, which will be used to inform future APEX engagements.
