Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) for emergency relief and development. SIF operates with strict neutrality, without distinction of origin, gender or religion, and is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the world’s most deprived populations.
Secours Islamique France is looking for an Institutional Financing Officer for its offices in Massy (91).
Context :
Reporting to the Director of International Programs and Operations, you will work closely with Desk Managers, Technical Advisors and people in support roles. You will contribute to the development of funding for SIF’s international missions by institutional donors (International Organizations, Ministries, Local Authorities, etc.) and foundations.
Your main missions will be distributed according to the following terms:
- Ensure active monitoring of institutional donors and foundations,
- Proactively prospect donors, understand their dynamics, their perspective, their interests,
- Evaluate the “attractiveness” of the SIF for donors and the compatibility of SIF projects with calls for tender,
- Support field teams in approaching institutional donors based in the field,
- Provide support for the assembly and contractual management of projects.
- Ensure monitoring of lessor regulations and produce/update lessor files, information notes and compliance grids in coordination with the relevant support departments (finance, legal, logistics and HR),
- Contribute to the development of proposals (note of intent and project) and ensure their compliance with donor requirements,
- Contribute to the representation of the SIF with institutional donors,
- Participate in meetings with donor representatives and other relevant stakeholders,
The list of missions is evolving according to the needs of the organization, non-exhaustive and non-limiting. The employee may be required to carry out other missions related to his qualification.
Profile
- Required diploma: Bac +5 min in Humanitarian Project Management (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position
- Mastery of French, European and UN humanitarian donors (at least ECHO, EU, AFD, UNICEF, etc.), the project cycle and budget management
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Mastery of the Office Pack
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to adapt and work on substantive files and/or in emergencies
- Versatility, rigor and organization
