WHAT IT’S LIKE TO BE A HUMANITARIAN AND ADVOCACY ANALYST IN MSF-BRAZIL:

You will design and actively participate in the implementation of advocacy strategies and institutional relations for MSF projects in Brazil, including, in addition to monitoring and elaborating analyses on public health topics and other topics of interest to the organization in Brazil and Latin America.

1. WHAT WILL BE YOUR CHALLENGES?

• Prezar for the fulfillment of the annual planning of the department, reconciling with the punctual delivery of projects and analyzes in a dynamic environment;

• nd Keep up-to-date on the different Brazilian and Latin American themes and contexts of interest to MSF, developing a strategic perspective for anticipating problems;

• Establishing relationships with key actors from different themes.

2. WHAT IS DAY TO DAY POSITION LIKE?

• Develop, implement and monitor advocacy strategies related to the themes of the Unit, promoting the defense of important issues and strategic objectives of the organization with the authorities and civil society; and;

• Support project teams in Brazil and Latin America in designing advocacy strategies and developing relationships with local authorities and social leaders;

• Monitor topics of interest to the organization in Brazil and Latin America and support in the writing of analyzes on health policies and other topics;

• To carry out activities to support MSF-Brazil operations, assisting teams in the production and analysis of data, contexts and risks, collaborating in the construction of decision-making;

• To produce analyses of political scenarios and conjuncture in Brazil and Latin America;

• Elaborate support materials for MSF’s work with Brazilian authorities or in articulations with civil society, such as key messages for meetings, description of profiles of relevant actors, among others;

• Represent MSF-Brazil in meetings with different stakeholders and in different scenarios, considering the strategic objectives of the organization and the area, where relevant;

• Coordinate research and compile data to support analysis documents on topics of interest to the MSF Advocacy Unit in Brazil and the region;

• 2 To increase the capacity of political incidence of MSF in Brazil in the priority themes for the organization, through the establishment and maintenance of good relationships with key actors, through participation in virtual/face-to-face events and networks;

• Re-mapping institutions, relevant actors, themes and opportunities for the topics of interest to MSF in Brazil;

• Elaborate letters, letters, e-mails, presentations and other institutional communications, when necessary;

• Support in the internal and administrative activities/processes of the department, suggesting improvements when necessary;

• be responsible for following up on MSF international humanitarian aid issues and agendas, if necessary;

• 2 Monitor and periodically report information and news on matters of interest to MSF, mainly for Operations;

• ^^Realize document review, data analysis and textual production, as required;

• 2 Support in reviewing the content and format of MSF-Brazil policies and standards, related to the department, when necessary
