As a major player in the social and solidarity economy, the French Red Cross manages a network of more than 600 institutions and services in the health, medico-social and training sectors. It is also the head of 12 regional institutes for health and social training.
At’international, the CRF intervenes in 16 countries alongside National Societies and 2 regional platforms (PIRAC and PIROI), on the following themes: Health and Disaster risk management.
Just as in the professions that’elle develops and implements in France, the French Red Cross at’international inscribes all its missions in a sustainable humanitarian action plan. This is reflected in an articulation of the activities of’urgency, post-emergency, crisis exit and reconstruction aimed at the best efficiency. The’objective is to carry out actions with lasting effects and to allow the populations to regain their full autonomy.

The working environment :
The French Red Cross (CRF) has been present in CAR since 1966 with an intervention in favour of refugees fleeing Sudan. In early 2015, the CRF, in partnership with the Central African Red Cross (CRCA) supports the ministry of health and population through a project to strengthen the health care supply in Bangui and Berberati. In Bangui,’action is conducted in 8 health centers and a reference structure on the implementation of the minimum package of’activity, maternal and child health activities, etc, with a psycho-social care component. In Berberati, 8 health structures benefit from’ support on maternal and child health and support for the decentralization of prevention of parent-child transmission (HIV).
Central African Red Cross (CRCA)
Member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) since 03 September 1973, the CRCA is a recognized association of’utility public. With the support of the movement’s partners, in May 2016, the national society S’ adopted a strategic development plan with axes that promote resilience, health, first aid, and, food safety and’ hygiene.
The anchoring of the CRCA in communities allows’ to optimize relations with local authorities. This anchoring notably passes through the network of volunteers also making it possible to ensure a real sustainability of the activities of the project, even after the end of the latter.

Qualifications & experiences
Bac +4/5 training in financial management/accounting, and having between 3 and 5 years (at least) of confirmed professional experience in the field of’administration (finance, HR, HR, admin) and in coordination of administrative and financial service.
Mandatory requirements for the position
- 2-3 years of’ experience in management of’multicultural team.
- 5 Years of’ experience in a developing country.
- Mastery of the office pack.
- Knowledge of the procedures of the main donors (EUROPEAID, AFD, WORLD FUND, ECHO, BHA, UNHCR, UNICEF, etc..).
- Good autonomy and ability to work under pressure.
Skills appreciated
- Mastery of the Office pack (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), networking (G-Suite/Google Workspace)
- Knowledge of the context of the country of’intervention
- Knowledge of CRF procedures.
- Experience in degraded security contexts.
- Mastery of SAGA software.
