Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) for emergency relief and development. The SIF acts in strict neutrality, without distinction of origin, gender or religion and is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the poorest populations in the world
The SIF is looking for an Institutional Finance Manager for its offices based in Massy (91).
Context
Attached to the Director of the Department of Programmes and Operations at’international (DPOI), the Head of institutional financing works closely with the managers of Desk, technical Referents as well as persons in support functions. He/she contributes to the development of the financing of the international missions of the FIS by institutional donors and foundations.
Your main missions will be the following (non-exhaustive and evolving list):
- Coordinate the active monitoring of institutional donors and foundations;
- Support for project set-up and contract management;
- Contribute, in a logic of capitalization, to the development of internal mechanisms to optimize the management of institutional financing and compliance with donor regulations;
- Contribute to the representation of FIS with institutional donors by being a leader under the responsibility of Director DPOI;
- In connection with the DPOI, structure and organize the institutional financing cluster around strategic objectives defined in line with the objectives of the DPOI;
- To ensure the direct supervision and management of the person or persons in charge of the institutional funds;
- Provide direct supervision and functional management of institutional finance officers and donor relationship officers recruited on missions.
Profile
- BAC +5 type Master Humanitarian project management or equivalent.
- Significant 3-year humanitarian experience in a similar position.
- English current imperative.
- Knowledge of the strategy of French, European and international institutional donors, their financing methods, their contractual management rules.
- Master of Project Engineering.
- Excellent editorial skills.
- Managerial skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
