About NSPPL :
NSPPL organization has been established as “The National Syrian project for prosthetic limbs ” in Feb 2013 by a group of Syrian doctors overseas to help the people whose parts has been imputed as a result of Syrian war and provide them with prosthetic parts and the appropriate rehabilitation and NSPPL is non-profit organization which serves people in Syria and Turkey.

Job Summary
The Grants Officer is responsible for identifying, securing, and managing grant funding opportunities to support NSPPL’s mission and programs. The role involves writing grant proposals, coordinating with program staff, maintaining relationships with donors, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements. The Grants Officer will work closely with the Operation and Project teams to monitor the financial status of grant-funded projects and ensure timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Grant Research & Identification

  • Research potential funding sources (government, foundations, and private donors) that align with the organization’s mission and programs.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of grant opportunities and deadlines.

2. Grant Proposal Writing & Submission

  • Write and submit compelling grant proposals and applications, tailored to the requirements of the funding organizations.
  • Coordinate with program staff to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
  • Ensure that all applications are submitted by deadlines and in compliance with the funder’s guidelines.

3. Grant Management

  • Ensure all grants are implemented according to the operational and financial needs of the organization.
  • Monitor project activities and expenditures to ensure compliance with grant terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with operation staff to track grant budgets and provide financial reporting.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports for funders on grant activities, expenditures, and outcomes.

4. Donor Stewardship & Communication

  • Maintain relationships with grant funders through regular updates and reports.
  • Act as the primary contact for all grant-related communications.

5. Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Work with program teams to develop evaluation metrics to track the success of grant-funded projects.
  • Ensure that project outcomes and impact are documented and communicated to stakeholders and funders.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in [relevant field: Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Finance, or related field].

• Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in grant writing and grant management, preferably within the nonprofit sector.

  • Proven track record of securing funding through grants.

• Skills:

  • Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to create compelling narratives.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance requirements for grant funding.

• Languages Skills:

English: advanced level
Arabic & Turkish: good level
