PUI has been present in Niger since 2017, as part of its regional strategy in the Sahel Central region and since the deterioration of the security situation in the area of « 3 borders », and implements health programs to help vulnerable populations. Today, PUI has a coordinating office in Niamey as well as two operational bases in Ouallam and Torodi, in the Tillaberi region and an operational base in Maradi. The actions of PUI in Niger, supported by BHA and CDCS, aim to improve access to care and strengthen monitoring and alert systems, particularly community-based systems, while working towards a sustainable strengthening of health structures in the region of Tillaberi and Maradi.Our teams strengthen the health system by supporting health centres in the region and deploying mobile clinics to facilitate access to healthcare.

And the.the Grants Officer in all this?

As a Grants Officer, you will be in charge of the management of the donor deadlines related to the programs, from internal and external communication on the mission and support the’Adjoint· Chef of Mission to the programs in its daily tasks, especially in the writing of proposals for’ intervention.

For this purpose, your responsibilities will be as follows :

Programmes : You will support the drafting and formulation of project proposals, as well as the substantive and formal revision of donor reports

Communication/Information : You will develop internal and external communication documents and participate in communication working groups.

Representation : You will participate in external coordination meetings.

The challenges ahead of you:

– Ensure continuity of Grant deliverables (monthly notes, intermediate/final reports) ; – Actively participate in the development of new project proposals ; – Contribute to the improvement of mission communication deliverables (project note, success stories, Factsheet) ; – Support in monitoring the context and funding grants ; – Participate in the elaboration of the operational strategy mission.

What you will need to succeed

Formation

You can justify a higher degree (Master 2 or equivalent) in a field related to project management.

Experience

You have previous experience in the international solidarity sector, ideally with a minimum of six months in project management. Have you worked with First International Emergency ? It will be an undeniable asset !

Skills

You have excellent editorial skills and knowledge about the rules of the main institutional donors (ECHO, EuropeAid, UN, OFDA, etc.).

Qualities required

You with a sense of responsibility, are autonomous and proactive. You show a good capacity for’analysis, are a good communicator, both to the written’ and’oral, and know how to manage priorities well. You show organization, rigor, flexibility, and’a good resistance to stress.

Languages

French and’anglais have no secrets for you ? So much the better, it’is essential for this post ! If you also speak’arabe, this will be an undeniable asset.

PUI will propose

Status: Employee(e) in a Term Contract

Gross monthly salary: 2 050,00 – 2 270,00 EUR according to your experience in international solidarity + 50€ per semester of seniority with PUI

Assurance including medical and complementary health coverage, 24/24 assistance, repatriation and pension

Hosting in collective house

Living expenses (“Per Diem”)

Break regime: 5 Working days to 3 and 9 months mission + break premium

Paid Leave Plan: 5 Weeks from CP/year + A/R air ticket at home every 6 months
