Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian medical association created in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened : mainly in the event of armed conflicts, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters or exclusion from care. The French section is present in about thirty countries.
As part of the renewal of its’Accounting and financial information management system, MSF is looking for a General accountant H/F
The General Accountant’s mission is to ensure the accounting and monitoring of all flows from the MSF Association.
Missions :
Under the hierarchical responsibility of the assistant accounting manager, you are in charge of :
Activity 1 – Accounting menu :
- Validate and record accounting documents issued and received.
- Order supplier and third party regulations without pay.
- Issue invoices.
- Participate in the production of year-end financial statements.
- Prepare tax and social declarations and fulfill their inherent obligations.
- Produce bank reconciliations.
Activity 2 – Revision of accounts
- Analyze the accounts and complete the framing with the upstream information ( donations, pay, … ) according to frequency defined by the head of the accounting and treasury center.
- Participate in the closing of accounts: justification of accounts, entries of’inventory, documentation of the closing file…
Activity 3 – Update of accounting procedures
- Updates the accounting procedures related to its mission, its tools, its interlocutors.
Profile sought :
Training :
- DUT /BTS Accounting-Management or a training of type BEP or CAP and BAC professional accompanied by’an experience in accounting.
- Mastery of general accounting principles.
- Mastery of’a general accounting software (ARCOLE/ERP would be a plus).
- Excellent mastery of common office software, including Excel.
- Associative/humanitarian experience is an asset.
Qualities required :
You are organized, versatile, rigorous and conscientious.
You are endowed’a good relational ease, love teamwork and adapt (many interlocutors and’information channels)
You are at’ on Excel, and know how to prioritize and plan your activities.
Status : 5 Months full-time CDD. Executive position, based in Paris.
Conditions :
40 K€ gross annual over 13 months. 22 days RTT per year. Complementary health care 100% supported by Doctors Without Borders. Titles restaurants d’a face value of 11€ (60% support by Doctors Without Borders). Support for 50% of the public transport ticket.
