Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian medical association established in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations facing crises that threaten their survival, mainly in armed conflicts, but also of’ epidemics, natural disasters or’exclusion of care. The French section of MSF is present in some thirty countries.
As part of’a replacement, we are looking for a General accountant H/F.
The General Accountant’s mission is to ensure the accounting and monitoring of all flows of the MSF’Association.
Under the hierarchical responsibility of the assistant accounting manager, you are in charge of the :
Keeping of accounting :
- Validate and record accounting documents issued and received.
- Ordering supplier and third party regulations out of payroll.
- Issue invoices.
- Participate in the production of end-of-year financial’states.
- Draw up tax and social declarations and fulfil their inherent obligations.
- Produce bank reconciliations.
Accounts review
- Analyze the accounts and carry out the framing with the upstream information (donations, pay, …) according to periodicity defined by the head of the accounting and treasury division.
- Participate in the closing of accounts: justification of accounts, inventory entries, documentation of the closing file…
Updating of accounting procedures
- Updates the accounting procedures relating to its mission, its tools, its interlocutors.
- Profile sought :
Training : DUT / BTS Accounting-Management or training of type BEP or CAP and BAC professionalExperiences: - Accounting experience.
- Associative / humanitarian experience is an asset.Skills :
- You are comfortable on Excel, and know how to prioritize and plan your activities.
- Mastery of the principles of general accounting.
- Mastery of general accounting software ( ARCOLE / ERP would be a plus ).
- Excellent control of current office software, notably Excel.Skills :
- You are extremely organized, rigorous and conscientious.
- You have a good relationship, like teamwork and adapt ( many interlocutors and information channels ).Languages : Current French, minimum B1 English.Status : CDI. Assimilé frame. Based in Paris, Jaurès metro.Salary conditions : 40K € gross annual over 13 months. 22 RTT days per year. Additional health care 100% taken care of by Médecins Sans Frontières. Restaurant securities with a face value of 11 € ( 60% supported by MSF ). Support for 50% of the public transport subscription.Recruitment process : 45-minute Excel test following maintenance.Taking up post : As soon as possible.
