How are you going to make a difference ? Qualifications and skills : 1 .Responsibilities and tasks to be carried out: Under the supervision of the Head of Education or the education specialist and the Head of the Zone office, the incumbent provides technical assistance, operational and administrative professional throughout the programming process for education programs / projects under the country program, from development planning to achieving results, preparing, implementing, manage and implement various technical and administrative tasks of the program in order to facilitate the development and implementation of the program, monitoring the progress of the program, evaluation and reporting.

2 .Summary of main functions and responsibilities :

  •  Support for program development and planning ;
  •  Management, monitoring and obtaining of program results ;
  •  Technical and operational support for the implementation of the program;
  •  Networking and establishment of partnerships ;
  •  Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building

To qualify as a champion for each child, you must have :

Education :

  •  A university degree in one of the following fields is required: education, psychology, sociology or other relevant technical field. *A first university degree in a relevant field combined with an additional 2 years of professional experience can be accepted in place of a higher university degree.

Professional experience:

  •  At least two ( 2 ) years of professional experience in program planning, management and / or research in the field of education are required.
  •  Professional experience in a developing country is considered an asset.
  •  Relevant experience in an agency or organization of the United Nations system is considered an asset.

Language knowledge:

  •  Mastering French is required ;
  •  English is an asset.
  •  Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language of the duty station is considered an asset.
