Acted Ivory Coast

Acted has been present in Cote d’’Ivoire since 2011 and is working to meet the needs of vulnerable people (refugees and host communities) in the northern regions of the country.

Main role and responsibilities

The Project Manager contributes to the development of project proposals in line with the global strategy of’Acted and the country programme. It ensures appropriate grant management, including in particular timely reports on the’completion of projects for donors. The Senior Project Manager facilitates internal communication and coordination with the relevant departments, and contributes to’Acted’s external communication strategy.

1. Fundraising

  • Contextual analysis

  • Contract monitoring

  • Monitoring partnerships

3. Management and Internal coordination

  • Staff management (s’there are)
  • Coordination and Internal communication
  • Archiving

4. External Communication

Qualifications and skills required

  • Master level training in a relevant field such as international relations, development or political science;
  • 1 To 2 years of’ previous work experience in a relevant position ;
  • Previous work experience in a related field, with knowledge of project design, proposal writing and grant management ;
  • Knowledge of the’ humanitarian aid system and ability to understand donor systems ;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, analytical skills ;
  • Strong coordination and interpersonal skills ;
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and at a fast pace;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Good team spirit and ability to work with varied profiles.

Conditions

  • Salary defined by the Acted salary grid according to the level of’studies, the’expertise, the level of security and the level of experience : between 1500 and 1700 € monthly net (before income taxes)
  • Monthly living expenses allowance 300$
  • Guesthouse accommodation and food supported by Acted
  • Social security, mutual insurance (MSH) and repatriation assistance (SOS International) supported by Acted
  • Transport to the mission and return ticket fully supported every 6 months (to the’address specified on the employment contract)
  • Visa fees supported by Acted
  • One week of preparation for departure including 4 days of immersion safety training
  • Possibility of’having a call of 30 minutes with a consultant in taxation
  • Psychological support (meet with a professional.le)
