OBJECTIVE: Support the implementation of health communication strategies through Social and Behavioral Change (CSC) approaches to increase knowledge and influence the attitudes of community members to change health search practices.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the implementation of activities and identify indicators to monitor the activities, results and achievements of the implementation of the activities of the health program.
- Provide support to the Medical, Program and SERA teams, for the organization and execution of evaluations and investigations on the impact of health activities and identifying and reporting on limitations, difficulties or strengths of the health activities strategy
- Provide support in the selection and development of quality pedagogical communication strategies for the community.
- Plan information campaigns, including goals, objectives, methods and objectives to increase awareness among the target population
- Inform community members and identified risk groups, according to the protocols, on health-related issues.
- Organize health advocacy sessions for BMI personnel in Bolívar state.
- Organize, train and supervise the Medical team regarding the planning and organization of their work, support, evaluate and train personnel, collect reports and report the activities of each health worker and regularly visit the communities under their responsibility
- Collect and report to the Medical team any information related to the health situation of the population and patients.
Minimum requirements:
- Baccalaureate degree, community worker certificate or Bachelor of Education or any other degree related to the social sciences
- 6 months of experience in activities related to health or community promotion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)
- Residence in Caicara del Orinoco, Edo. Bolívar (or availability to relocate). The organization does not cover accommodation expenses.
