BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION OF THE POSITION:

The/holder of the relevant post will be responsible for the effective implementation of various administrative procedures and activities. He/she should interpret the standard guidance and practices available, while being able to recommend actions to colleagues at different levels and delegate tasks to other support staff.

MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (indicative and non-exhaustive list):

1. Ensure proper storage/conservation of assets and equipment and ship to the appropriate location the newly acquired’actif;

2. Inspect and verify the technical conformity, quantity and quality of new acquisitions in accordance with the details of the purchase order and delivery note ;

3. Receive the NFIs ordered by the’unit of purchases, and S’s ensure the quantity and quality of the items received in accordance with the purchase order ;

4. Set up a system of control of stocks of supplies, consumables and goods of the’Organisation ;

5. Regular and monthly monitoring of the fuel intakes for light vehicles and generator 6. Plan physical inventories of equipment in accordance with the requirements of the’Organisation;

7. Identify assets requiring repairs and take the necessary measures ; S’ ensure that repairs and’ maintenance of assets are carried out in accordance with the contract for repair and’ maintenance of assets ;

8. Serve as Travel Focal office point for official field missions by producing travel documents on time based on approved monthly mission plan ;

9. Serve as the first(e) interlocutor/interlocutor for internal’information requests concerning the organisation of missions and facilitate the efficient and effective resolution of everyday problems encountered in the field of missions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Training:

  • A university degree in the field of finance, administration, economics or other related field is required for this position.

Desired experience:

  • At least five (5) years of work experience, with similar levels of responsibility.
  • Minimum two years (2) years of experience in the field of’administration.

Language knowledge:

  • Mastery (level C) of the French language (spoken and written) and/or intermediate knowledge (level B) of English.
