Zoom on the Accounting Service

The Accounting Department consists of 7 people. The mission of its members is to manage the general accounting of the headquarters and missions of the’Association.

And the Assistant Accountant Manager – Accounting Land in all this?

As Assistant Accountant Manager – Accountancy Land, under the hierarchical supervision of the Accountant Manager, you will ensure the follow-up, the control and the’ recording of the accounts of the missions of First International Emergency to the’ abroad and you will participate in the’improvement of the accounting tools and procedures of the’Association.

For this purpose, your responsibilities will be as follows :

  • Management: You will accompany and supervise the field accounting assistants, you will ensure the good circulation of’information and will be in charge of workload analysis. You will also be in charge of the development and updating of individual’action plans and the conduct of semi-annual and/or annual’ appraisal interviews.
  • Supervision of the Accounting Mission : You will be in charge of the verification and the monthly processing of the accounts (paper and electronic SAGA) sent from the bets. You will be in charge of monthly exchange rate validation in SAGA. You will be the guarantor of the’integration of SAGE scripts in SAGA and the correspondence of SAGE-SAGA databases. You will participate in the annual’arranged accounts of the’association. You will provide ongoing technical support to field administrators.
  • Supervision of management issues: You will control budget imputations in accordance with the budgets of operations.
  • Capacity development of field accounting teams : You will participate in the training of field administrators during their visit to Headquarters or on site as required. You will be in charge of the’ development of’a catalogue of the’ set of training courses to be provided. You will develop and deliver e-learning training modules.
  • Development and improvement of financial tools : You will develop the tools and procedures for better efficiency in the management of ABXLs and interactions between headquarters and field accounting. You will be in charge of managing general settings and deploying new versions of the SAGA software. You will be in charge of the development of accounting plans and procedures in connection with the management department projects.

What you will need to succeed

Formation

You can justify an initial training (Bac+4/5) in accounting and/or management.

Experience

Do you have’ experience in accounting? C’is indispensable. Have you worked with First International Emergency? It will be an undeniable asset!

Skills

Do you master the SAGA software ? This post is made for you!

Qualities required

You show a good relationship, ease of communication, both in writing and orally, and you have a taste for teamwork. You demonstrate reliability and a sense of responsibility, rigor and organization, responsiveness and adaptability. You have excellent resistance to stress and an ability to work under pressure.

Languages

Do you speak French and’anglais fluently ? C’is indispensable for this post !

PUI will propose

Status: Framework

Salary: 3500 EUR gross monthly over 12 months

Medical coverage: 100% of the mutual Health and Providence

Support: Support up to 50% of the ticket and up to 60% of Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of 10€)

Rest: 5 weeks of paid leave per year + 1 RTT per month (37h/week)
