About: Action Against Hunger
Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been the basis of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, in particular during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Mission :
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, relevance and scale of the strategy and interventions SMSP, Protection and Gender on the mission, and, in compliance with ACF and international standards and national policies.
Specifically, you will be in charge of :
Contribute to the definition of the country strategy, and to the definition of the strategy and positioning of the SMSP technical department.
Coordinate the identification of needs and the formulation of project proposals.
Support the implementation and ensure the reporting of programs/projects.
Guarantee the quality and accountability of projects, ensure the active participation of ACF in national sectoral coordination, technical platforms and develop sectoral partnerships.
Promote the capitalization, development, technology and research within the SMSP department.
Provide technical supervision of the Managers of projects in SMSP.
Ensure frequent contact with health authorities, coordination mechanisms (OCHA, clusters, WGs, etc.), UN agencies and NGOs.
You will have to carry out many trips on the ground (about 30% of your working time).
Profile :
You have a university degree in psychology with proven experience in program coordination positions focused on mental health and protection.
You have experience in the design, implementation and monitoring of projects and in the facilitation of working groups /pilot committees.
You have knowledge of basic care practices and animation techniques.
You have experience in analyzing program data.
You master the protocols of psychological care and psychosocial support, psychological first aid and emotional stabilization.
You have excellent capabilities of using the computer tool.
You have good communication skills, in listening and observation.
You must master French and English (oral as well as written).
YOUR EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
International package :
Fixed-term contract of use under French law: 12 months
Start date : As soon as possible
Gross monthly salary: from 2130 to 2475 euros depending on experience
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 583euros net, paid on the ground
Monthly context allowance: 150euros
Child allowance: 1500euros per year per child present in the country of origin (6000euros/year ceiling)
Transport and housing : Travel management and collective housing
Medical coverage : 100% of the coverage of health contributions (CFE + complementary health) and repatriation insurance
Leave and RnR : 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; support of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break area, and 215euros of lump sum compensation by RnR
National package :
Fixed-term contract of use of Cameroonian law: 12 months
Gross monthly salary: from 1 637 835 FCFA to 1 734 521 FCFA depending on experience
Medical coverage: 80% of the coverage for you and your legally recognized successors in title
Accident Coverage only for you
Death capital and funeral expenses for you (to be paid to your successors in title if applicable)
Contribution for tuition fees in the amount of 40,000 FCFA/per child of school age payable only in August
Leave and RnR: 2 days of CP per month of work
