About: Action Against Hunger
Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been the basis of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, in particular during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Safety and Ways of Existence – Water, Health, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Mission :
Under the responsibility of the SMPS Technical Referrer, you will have to guarantee the quality, relevance and technical innovation of the SMPS-GP strategy and interventions on the mission, in compliance with ACF and international standards and national policies.
Specifically, your missions will be as follows :
Contribute to the definition of the country strategy and the definition of the strategy and positions of the technical department SMPS-GP.
Ensure monitoring of general indicators.
Verify that the key indicators of ACF in SMPS-GP are monitored and analyzed on the intervention area.
Coordinate the identification of needs and the formulation of project proposals.
Support the implementation and ensure the reporting of programs/projects.
Guarantee the quality and accountability of projects.
Verify the technical adequacy of projects with internal scoping documents and the sectoral technical literature.
Validate the adequacy with the standards (SPHERE, IASC, WHO, national, etc.).
Ensure the active participation of ACF in national sectoral coordination, technical platforms and develop sectoral partnerships.
Participate in the recruitment of national programme managers or get involved in the selection of expatriates (definition of profiles, interviews and/or additional tests, technical adequacy to the project context).
Contribute to the drafting of expatriate HR requests on technical aspects (job description, technical recruitment criteria, drafting of the action plan).
Promote capitalization, development, technology and research within the SMPS department.
Ensure and ensure the confidentiality of data collected during the SMPS-GP activities of the mission.
Profile :
Graduate of a Master II in Clinical Psychology, you have at least 2 years of professional experience on similar functions and justify experience in the humanitarian sector.
You have a very good command of the project cycle, and a good editorial ease for project writing.
You also have a good analytical and synthesis ability.
You have experience in mental health, psychosocial support, early childhood development and experience in psycho-trauma.
You have a perfect command of English and French.
Employment conditions
3 Months of fixed-term contract of use of French law
Salary:Gross monthly salary of entry from 2597 to 2968 euros depending on experience
Per diem and monthly living expenses: during field visits, paid on the ground, amounts aligned as defined on the missions(eurocost)
16% of the gross monthly salary of pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens.
15% of gross salary for specific flying allowance
