Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, in particular during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Safety and Ways of Existence – Water, Health, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Mission :

Under the supervision of the Country Director, you will coordinate Action Against Hunger interventions in its area of intervention. You will work in collaboration with a team of 6 people: a Field Programme Assistant Coordinator, a SERA Manager, a Logistics Manager, a Finance Manager, an HR Manager and a Security Advisor.
In this context, your missions will be :
Coordinate the implementation of the ACF country strategy in the intervention area
Coordinate the overall implementation of programmes in the field
Manage the teams in your area
Facilitate good relations with coordination teams
Represent ACF and ensure relations with partners, authorities, UN agencies and NGOs in its area of intervention
Ensure reporting and communication
Managing the safety and security of the base

Profile :

You hold a graduate degree (Bac+4) in project management or other relevant fields related to the requirements of the position.
You have demonstrated experience in project management and planning, multisectoral programme management, as well as programme budget management.
You have a good communication and writing ability, and have successfully written project proposals.
You know how to manage teams and track performance. You are capable of leadership, integrity and honesty.
You have good stress and complexity management skills, and know how to show emotional intelligence.
Working in an international environment, proficiency in English is necessary’oral as in writing.

Employment conditions

Fixed-term contract of use under French law: 12 months
Gross monthly salary: from 2597 to 2968euros depending on experience
Pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Basic salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 619euros net, paid in the field
Monthly context allowance: 450euros
Child allowance: 1500euros per year per child present in the country of origin (6000euros/year ceiling)
Transport and housing : Travel management and collective housing
Medical coverage : 100% of the coverage of health contributions (CFE + complementary health) and repatriation insurance
Salary maintenance devices (illness, maternity, paternity)
Leave and RnR : 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; support of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break area, and 215euros of lump sum compensation by RnR
