About: Action Against Hunger
Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been the basis of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, in particular during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Safety and Ways of Existence – Water, Health, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Mission :
The coordinator will be in charge of supporting the country director in identifying internal risks as well as with partners, and investigating complaints / concerns.
Under the responsibility of the country director, the missions will be as follows:
Identification and recovery of risks internally,
Awareness and dissemination of risk register procedures to colleagues coordination to make the risk register operational,
Identification, recovery and risk management concerning the implementing partners,
Support to the Country Director to manage fraud investigations, and support for other mission investigations,
Management of internal audits and ad hoc interdepartmental control,
Coordination with the various departments for the internal audit exercise,
Overall management of the compliance function across the mission, including,
Profile :
From Bac +4/5 training in finance, you have a desired experience in a position of administrator/finance, you,
You have knowledge of donor rules, and,
You have proven experience in finance, logistics or human resources,
Experience in conducting audits/control systems is a plus,
You have an ability and an ease to work in a volatile context with strong security pressures, as well as in a context with a presence of corruption by knowing how to remedy it,
You speak French fluently, a good level of English is a plus,
Employment conditions
12 Months of fixed-term contract of use of French law
Gross monthly salary of entry from 2597 to 2968 euros depending on experience
Per diem and monthly living expenses: 720euros (see eurocost) net, paid on the ground.
Monthly context allowance: 150euros
Child allowance: 1500euros per year per child present in the country of origin (6000euros/year ceiling)16% of the gross monthly salary of pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens.
Transport and housing : Travel management and collective housing
Medical coverage : 100% of the coverage of health contributions (CFE + complementary health) and repatriation insurance
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year, 20 RTT per year and 215euros paid during the recovery period
