Promoting information integrity and resilience

This Request for Applications (RFA) invites potential partners capable of advancing information integrity and resilience initiatives under USAID’s Strengthening Regional Peace and Stability in West Africa (SRPS) program to submit funding requests.
USAID SRPS aims to support the implementation of local initiatives that strengthen societal resilience to misinformation, protect the public information space, and combat disinformation to ensure that citizens have access to fact-based information on key issues. These activities will contribute to broader efforts by West African nations to address the risks of instability arising from conflict.
Applicants are invited to propose activities and efforts within the following lines of action:
- Strengthening citizens’ resilience to information manipulation
- Strengthening information integrity and resilience
Applicants are encouraged to propose innovative and practical methods to strengthen citizens’ resilience to disinformation. Applicants can choose from a range of initiatives or expand on existing projects that have shown positive results.
The geographical area of the program is open to the entire territory of Guinea.
The deadline for submission of all application documents for the first evaluation round is November 20, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
