The Logistics Assistant supports the Logistics team in Manila by handling and following up on requests and carrying out simple procurement activities while ensuring compliance with ICRC procedures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handles orders received and ensures timely and accurate treatment in the ICRC’s Logistics system.
- Follows up on requests and provides feedback to requesters on their order status.
- Purchases goods and services, including walk-in requests, up to a certain financial threshold.
- Performs filing and archiving of documents.
- Processes invoices received from suppliers for payment
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree
- At least one year experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing or Logistics (Fresh graduates may be considered depending on their profile)
- Very good computer literacy (Word, Excel)
- Very good command of written and spoken English.
- Preferably knows how to drive both light vehicle & motorcycle.
