Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement the identification of unregistered most vulnerable waste collectors for registration in the Zero Waste Information System.
- Organize and facilitate focus group discussions with waste collectors to understand their needs and conditions.
- Design and implement empowerment programs for waste collectors and their families, focusing on rights, occupational safety, and hygiene.
- Provide Turkish language training for Syrian waste collectors.
- Distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) and conduct health screenings.
- Develop programs for NGOs aimed at enhancing skills in rights-based work.
- Produce a video documenting the working conditions of waste collectors.
- Organize activities that promote social cohesion, such as football matches and open-air cinema screenings.
- Conduct training sessions aimed at developing advocacy and organizational capacity for waste collectors.
- Supervising the capacity building of five local NGOs to enhance their ability to work on rights-based initiatives and social cohesion..
- Provide regular reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Track registration data and needs assessments collected from focus group discussions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, International Relations, Human Rights, Business Administration, Community Development, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing community projects, preferably with marginalized groups.
Languages:
• Fluent in Turkish and Arabic, with good English skills.
Personal Skills: Strong relationship-building abilities, excellent organizational skills, and problem-solving capacity.

- Sıfır Atık Bilgi Sistemi’nde kayıt için kayıtsız ve en savunmasız atık toplayıcının tanımlanmasını koordine etmek ve uygulamak.
- Atık toplayıcılarla ihtiyaçlarını ve koşullarını anlamak amacıyla odak grup tartışmaları düzenlemek ve kolaylaştırmak.
- Haklar, iş güvenliği ve hijyen konularına odaklanan atık toplayıcıları ve aileleri için güçlendirme programları tasarlamak ve uygulamak.
- Suriyeli atık toplayıcılar için Türkçe dil eğitimi sağlamak.
- Kişisel koruyucu ekipman (PPE) dağıtmak ve sağlık taramaları yapmak.

Qualifications :
– Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, International Relations, Human Rights, Business, Community Development or related fields.
– At least 2 years of experience in community projects, preferably working with disadvantaged groups.
– Fluent in Turkish, good knowledge of English and Arabic.
– Strong relationship building abilities, excellent organizational skills and problem solving capacity.
